Local dignitaries attend Standby launch spectacular

Standby’s recent launch event, held at our new headquarters, was alive with the great and the good, we’re proud to announce.

Our smart new building was packed with valued clients and business associates, along with a deputy mayor, a former mayor, other councillors and many friends, who came together to wish the team every success in the new premises.  A commemorative plaque was unveiled by David Davies MP who generously agreed to come along and officially reopen the iconic town centre building, marking the completion of its dramatic refurbishment after standing empty and neglected for several years.

The barn-style building, with its stunning pointed stonework and striking large windows, is now an outstanding landmark and the spacious light interior is no disappointment, with its clean lines, tasteful décor and understated beech furniture.

With drinks flowing freely and some fantastic food on offer, the evening was a huge success and we were really grateful that so many people had taken time out of their busy lives to come and celebrate with us.  Sincere thanks to all those who came along and especially those who sent flowers, cards and congratulatory messages.

The team is delighted with the new surroundings and we feel sure that at last our premises reflect the professional service that we offer.  Clients are welcome to visit the new headquarters to discuss their business needs in comfort, and more information on the broad variety of office services that we deliver can also be found here.

Standby’s virtual office Tip of the Week

You may enjoy spending hours at your PC preparing documents and transcribing dictated reports, or perhaps you absolutely hate it.  Either way, is that really the best use of your precious time?  Standby’s team members are all experienced keyboard operators and we bet that our typing speeds are superior to yours.  Why not send us your copy typing and dictated mp3 files or tapes for transcription so that you can get on with much more important tasks, such as seeing clients and building your business?  Click here to contact us.

Ultimately, we recognise that in these difficult times, managing your costs is something that is absolutely crucial to your business, and that’s exactly why it is so central to ours.  Speak to Standby and you can be sure that the only expenses headaches on your radar will be the ones being racked up by some of those rogues in Westminster (present company excepted, of course!).
